It was a great weekend for Timken Subaru Racing at Aldo Scribante when round three of the Wesbank SuperSeries got under way in Port Elizabeth. A great qualifying session saw the Impreza STI in the thick of the battle for the lead in all three rounds of the Bridgestone Production Car Championship, culminating in a well-deserved and very popular win in the final 14-lapper.

The Timken Subaru Production Car team left Cape Town highly encouraged by the improvements made to their Subaru Impreza STI, in spite of little reward to show for the hard work over the past few weeks. The Impreza’s upgrade reduced the gap to the leaders to ½ second per lap from 3 seconds per lap at Kyalami, with the car running even quicker in the second six-lap race.
